This role requires a passion for sales, ambition, drive, self-motivation and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing guidance on suitable used cars from our inventory.

Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the features and specifications of our used car inventory, ensuring you can confidently convey the value of each vehicle to potential buyers.

Sales Process: Guide customers through the sales process, from initial contact to test drives and finalizing the sale. Explain financing options and warranty programs to meet their needs.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with customers to foster repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.

Negotiation: Demonstrate effective negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements that satisfy both the customer and the dealership.

Paperwork and Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free transaction for the customer.

Candidates need to exceed the below minimum required standards:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry, with specific focus on used cars, including trade-in evaluations, canvassing, deal closing etc.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge of automotive features, specifications, and market trends.

Computer literate with good administration and attention to detail skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Excellent negotiation skills.

A valid SA driver's license.
